Ingredients

For the dough

  • 1 kilo of flour
  • 50g yeast
  • 2 spoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Water
  • Olive oil

For the filling

  • 200g of cream cheese
  • 300g of smoked salmon
  • 1 fennel
  • 2 cooked potatoes
  • A handful of fresh dill

Prepare all the ingredients. Mix 100g of flour together with the yeast, sugar, and water to form a liquid dough. Set aside in a warm place until it doubles in size.

Work the dough, and then roll out to form a large rectangle. Work the dough well for the best results!

Thinly slice the potatoes and patiently place them on top of the bread. Fold the dough in half and add fresh dill to finish. Place in a preheated 180ºC (356ºF) oven for 10 minutes.

Remove the oven-baked bread from the oven and slice into rectangles. Spread lashings of cream cheese on top, add sliced fennel, smoked salmon and more fresh dill. Place another slice of rectangular bread on top to finish.

When ready, make sure to serve with a glass of GatoNegro Reserve Sauvignon Blanc.

Pro tip: Prick dough before placing in the oven.
